I'd like to seek approval of Robin's GLEP 76 update:

https://gitweb.gentoo.org/data/glep.git/commit/?h=glep76&id=139198d2e8560f8dfb32c8f4c34a3e49d628b184

Hey,

may be a bit late but... I'd like council's official approval to
implementing the "Trusted Contributor Model" suggested and discussed in
https://archives.gentoo.org/gentoo-project/message/8cce8ba3edef3910525c4805fffeb0a3

In other words, can we conceptually have non-dev users committing to
selected parts of the repository. Technical implementations, such as
possible GLEP updates, will follow if a stamp for that is granted.

re: GLEP 76

~ I'll set time aside on the 13th to be available for comment if anyone
has questions or wants insights into the wording adjustment, social
conventions for contributor inclusivity, smoother recruiting paths, or
just developer relations regarding dignity as a broader topic.

though hopefully, just to quietly attend, sign off, and ACK that
everyone is on the same page.

(confident everything still LGTM)

- kuza

P.S. thank you to everyone involved

It might be a bit late, and we can always table it for the next council
meeting. 2 years ago, an upgrade of the forums to the latest and great
version of phpBB was promised. I would like to get an update from those
infra/forums members involved with this upgrade and the status of it.

I stopped working on it. We are tracking state on
https://bugs.gentoo.org/880071 which mostly has some partial upgrade
instructions for someone else.

The status is that I completed a migration in the test environment,
but no migration in prod has happened. Unless someone picks up that
work (I think some other folks in infra expressed interest) I expect
no further progress on my end.
