Good morning,
It's my pleasure to announce a new Gentoo developer in our family.
Daniel "zlg" Campbell is joining us from Centralia, Washington, USA
and he will be assisting the Games team as a start point. But he is also
interesting in eudev and OpenRC packages.
Here is how he describes himself:
"I'm originally from the southeastern USA and have been interested in
computers since I was a teenager, when I first started pursuing web
design and pixel art. My first exposure to GNU/Linux was with Knoppix
and Ubuntu in 2005. I later migrated to Arch in 2007 and have been
using Gentoo since 2012.
My interests are in programming, design, video games, and drawing. The
politics and ethics of Free Software are very interesting to me and
part of what motivates me to do more within the community. Freedom and
choice are important, and I believe Gentoo is the best place to help
that cause.
Cryptography and privacy-retaining software are also interesting to me.
I would like to attend a keysigning party some time to learn more about
and practice the Web of Trust."
Please give him a warm welcome!

Welcome aboard, Daniel!
It is nice to see more people handling game issues. And we have
many crypto-related stuff like ongoing (at least I hope so) GnuPG
tree verification. Cryptography is really endless area :)
Best regards,
Andrew Savchenko

Welcome Daniel!
As Andrew stated, there is an on-going project for managing gpg related
tasks, keys within Gentoo. In fact I've started doing some code
changes to integrate gkeys for Manifest verification to both portage
and pkgcore already.
Project: Gentoo-keys
IRC: #gentoo-keys
Apps: app-crypt/gkeys, app-crypt/gkeys-gen, gkeys-ldap
Keyrings: app-crypt/gentoo-keys (Gentoo release media keys)
Join us for discussion, coding, fixing your gpg key to meet GLEP 63
spec requirements, etc...
