Also, by trying to not drive people away, we already drive others away (I very well remember the last few "I will retire" threads). In the end it seems to me that old-timers regularly win that "contest". It's not the same thing to temporarily remove commit access of someone who has been working on gentoo for 5+ years and is lead of several projects, compared to someone who just got in here 5 months ago. Let's face it. It will never improve. We can just try to live with it and that's what most people do. And I am specifically talking about people who don't follow a methodology of talking stuff through before doing it... not gentoo culture in general. And I am also not talking about casual oversight, but about behavioral pattern. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- iQJ8BAEBCgBmBQJTOAyRXxSAAAAAAC4AKGlzc3Vlci1mcHJAbm90YXRpb25zLm9w ZW5wZ3AuZmlmdGhob3JzZW1hbi5uZXQzMDlCNDQ4NjEyNDI4NjA5REVEMDI3MzIy MjBDRDFDNUJERUVEMDIwAAoJECIM0cW97tAg5FcP/REoH+lveBIcw6ViZtY74pJh V+pxGHUlmrEWuG+ZU3UBjiUw0IJ1GNdihHVsxL6Uaeo2VMala9UPystxQ7BHxw4e 6oWoDdG0Wk1zY5spJvXPBaeZTxM1RBVm72LY8NMF9axi/8GWISa6TsYS14GF27MY TVdlvBPQfdWDr+It2BqvyQfjudK+SW/BGF8Oyi8A63K6rjMa+ZY63lwKo4J8SqaP YYAA0NVb+kgw+b/UsBRTbIivWJQP4GngKaUZmD9y8DLGzE2WJ30Q1+9AVINUmA+5 4fVJJpTNJ+a2BUVZbv1Y6WPE6KpOsgL7egxRp+DK4zrnp3gAq9RIKfUEbMw0nubW s1UHSA7cB82sVcgPS/j1aSH3mrlpmXC6aQC03Cb1nCUmQVMgxIZyVZCiYvOownO+ JVTen3V4IL9K1qa0FmqlyWioJ0QPkfN+8SYVnWxcsj9WdAM7DUMWaRCAhhvdejUE oFniV27yXq2r1mqYgvaD/twy8sK4b/2QXeoQUm1Z7xHt8AggRtr6XtFFXMisJh+t vSdbY2nG/BbWtYEllR851s4JX4EQXJKRSPjFbtvfYyTzzWfiJiyqVz9aqm1etta4 8YTZB4xUpXrGUtCMMEm7CTTbsosPm+20/yn67fKglLyd2RVo//Iyni1nNqSxrIBY X1JrtdoyVB+uLP6t/vn/ =4zEI -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
