Good evening everyone,

It is my pleasure to announce a new Gentoo developer. Tom "TomWij"
Wijsman is joining us from Antwerp, Belgium and he will be assisting
the kernel team. Here is how he describes himself:

"My name is Tom Wijsman, 23 years old and I live near Antwerp,
Belgium. Currently I am studying Computer Science at the University of
Antwerp and have chosen for courses to become a Software Engineer. I
have one brother and one sister. My hobbies mostly involve the
computer, which range from just browsing to developing, gaming and
tweaking; but besides that I also love to listen to music (a wide
variety of genres), watch dancing shows and musicals, go out and
anything that is fun to do. I also play a lot of games"

Welcome, Tom!

As a side, Tom is an excellant example of how to become a dev.  He
jumped on bugs, and kicked ass at them.  I immediately noticed this
help, encouraged him and then asked him to become a full dev.

I mentored him through the process, and Markos did the recruiting.
(Thanks, Markos!)

And now he is a full dev with a life sentence of Gentoo. :)
