That one is nice, but doesn't contain some charts I'd be interested in:

a. number of commits
b. average committer lifetime
c. active vs. retired devs (I think we got much more active ones recently)
d. histogram of developer commits
e. most active committers, and percentages, like "40% of commits are
made by 18 developers"

too or automate this process and have everything in place in a shiny

OK, I can look into doing a more in-depth update. Didn't realize there 
was interest. BTW, the repository with all the scripts etc I used for 
that 2007 story is in my webspace:
