This message was sent to four different mailing lists on and I am on all 
of them. I think this is unnecessary spam. People should use 
-dev-announce and the mailing list where the actual discussion is 
supposed to happen. You aren't reaching extra people with the other 
lists because every developer should be subscribed to -dev-announce. 
Maybe we should write some kind of a mailing list usage guide for 
developers somewhere?
