Recent discussions about which Java JDKs to continue supporting have
made me wonder just how many people are using these archs and how many
people are using Java on them. I am trying to nudge all non amd64/x86
archs towards icedtea so should we bother continuing to support IBM's
JDK given that it is proprietary, primarily there to cater for ppc(64),
and you have to register before you can even download it? Just how many
users are we going out of our way to support here? It makes me wish we
had something like Debian's popularity-contest.
