[gentoo-project] AT - SPARC and JAVA

Hi!

On the advice of Matts88 on IRC, I would like to volunteer to become an
AT for the SPARC architecture, I am looking for a mentor to help take me
through the process of becoming an AT on SPARC to help with JAVA. I have
done some valuable work on SPARC with the aim of making JAVA usable on
that architecture over the past year. 

I have completed the ebuild quiz and now waiting for a mentor to start
the process.

Oh dear, I need to apologise for the duplicated e-mails. To correct a
few things, it is Mattst88 who has advised me to e-mail the mailing list
directly and I am looking at becoming AT and maybe a developer.

Well, now that I can't claim no knowledge of this...

Alex is already an arch tester for SPARC, helping test packages and
such. He's also interested in joining the Java team and has
bootstrapped IcedTea on SPARC.

The SPARC team is pretty thin, so he's having a little trouble finding
a mentor. armin76 and I have helped him a little with the ebuild quiz,
which he has now completed. The ebuild quiz has not been reviewed by
anyone to my knowledge.

Any volunteers to mentor him?

Thanks, that's much appreciated. I am still interested in becoming a
developer, as I just discovered that I'm already an AT since 16th Feb
this year :-D

Good evening,

I am CCing @java and @sparc teams since you are interested in joining
them. I would suggest to find a mentor which is member in these teams.
If you don't find one, then I can be your mentor.

Looks like you've been landed with the job, Markos, of mentoring me.
Thanks for volunteering, I am most grateful. Now what is the next step
to take? I have the ebuild quiz ready to go through with you.
