It's my pleasure to introduce new Gentoo developer Theo Chatzimichos (also known as tampakrap on IRC). Theo joins us from Larissa, Greece where he is undergraduate student of Computer Science in the Technological Educational Institute of Larissa. In the past three years his primary concern was university's Linux team that organized two conferences, three install fests and many burnfests. Also they've been guested on a larger conference in Athens called FOSSCOMM (presentation of open source communities from all over Greece), and they proposed the committee to have this year's conference hosted in Theo's university. In university's Linux team they managed to convert many people to Linux (but not Gentoo unfortunately). Theo with some other Greek Gentoo users decided to boost Greek Gentoo Community by opening a new site with documentation and translations. He already translated a large part of Gentoo Handbook into Greek, so it looks like this idea is about to be implemented. In Gentoo Theo volunteer to help kde team with kde3 packages. Please, give a warm welcome to Theo, -- Peter. P.S. Those who read this announcement at FOSDEM have a chance to meet Theo there and welcome him in real life.
