I am installing gentoo on my Ti PowerBook G4 using stage 3. I am at the
point of configuring the kernel.

When I try to emerge gentoo-dev-sources --pretend, I receive the
following error:
[blocks B ] sys-apps/modutils ("virtual/modutils" from pkg
sys-apps/module-init-tools-3.0-r2)

How do I clear this problem?

TIA

John

emerge unmerge modutils; emerge gentoo-dev-sources

Yea, I'm on a G4 Aluminium PowerBook and I had the same problem. I'm not
sure if this is the best way to go about it but it worked for me. I just
emerge unemerge sys-apps/modutils and everything was dandy after that.
