[gentoo-ppc-dev] iBook -- External Monitor

Hi guys,
I'm editing the gentoo-ppc-faq guide, we(gentoo doc team) has received a
mail a howto about connecting an iBook to the external monitor. The
howto's URL is

please have a look and tell me if its valid to be put in.

Hi Benny,

The stock answer is no, as external monitor support is not supported
across the entire ibook line due to video card differances between the
various models. that webpage while it worked for the owner, it's not a
catch all answer. In fact that guide won't work for my ibook. External
monitor support is still in its infancy and as such there isn't a guide
that will handle all of them. Some of the models require additional
software to do it, some the software doesn't exist for it yet.
