Hi,

	just subscribed and couldn't find an archive so
this might be an obvious question:-)

Whats the development stand on gentoo on osx?
I'm having multiple gentoo x86 linux boxes and
am very very very satisfied with the package manager
(and the management). I've read the article in June(?) 2003
on portage on OSX.

Is it possible (less hassle than fink on osx) to install
portage for a few packages? I don't WANT to use
fink anymore, and if portage on OSX would be
in an acceptable state, I'd try that anytime!

The archives can be found at http://gmane.org, but I don't know how much
discussion there has been on Portage under OSX on the lists.

to help out on it.
