I just got the latest EFF newsletter, which contained some info about a
nonprofit boot camp run by the Craigslist Foundation [1]. That
foundation exists purely to help out nonprofits, like us.

Since we're just getting off the ground and trying to figure things out,
it could be valuable to send a couple of people down there to go to many
of the sessions, take notes and help us figure things out.

Registration for the conference only runs $50/person, but it's in San
Francisco so people would have to get there too. It's a full one-day
event October 8, and registration supposedly fills up quickly.

What do you think?

Thanks,
Donnie

Based from what I can read on the web site, it seems it provides mostly tips
but little required stuff (might be mistaken though). Some of them are
interesting though :)

Do we have trustees in the SF neighbourhood?

Wkr,

I think it would be a good idea. The closest ppl to San Fran (I believe) are
you, myself, and Deedra.

I'll be attending something similar at the end of this month, so it would be
good for someone else to go. If someone wants to go they can figure out what
the costs would be. Given that travel costs are involved, I don't think the
proximity of the 3 of us to S.F. really matters (you can probably get a cross
country flight as cheap as a PDX flight)

Cheers!
