Mirroring seems not working properly. I've been getting these errors
since 21/Oct.

rsync: failed to set times on "/public/gentoo-mirror/experimental/bittorrent-http-seeding/install-alpha-minimal-2007.0/install-alpha-minimal-2007.0.iso": Function not implemented (38)
(the whole errors are here -> http://www.channelx.biz/rsync-error.log ).

I haven't touched anything on mirroring configuration, but did I do
something wrong here?

regards,

Hi,

Hmm may be this indicates a filesystem problem.

Thanks for the reply.

PK> Hmm may be this indicates a filesystem problem.
I rebooted to fsck HDDs, but the errors still exist. It seems mirroring
is done properly. It might be something to do with my weekend 'emerge
-avetND world' with modified CFLAGS adding -msse3 and deleting
-fomit-frame-pointer.

I'll take some time this weekend to think what's causing the problem.
Thanks anyway.

regards,

I googled about this for a bit and found
http://www.message-archive.com/post-67083.html

my kernel is 2.6.20 and I guess I need to upgrade either kernel or rsync
3.0.
