In profiles/license_groups, there is the following comment in front of
the MISC-FREE license group:

# TODO: maybe add a category for BSD-alike MISC-FREE licenses for easy
# separation?
# BSD-4 alikes: dom4j FastCGI icu JDOM

This was added in 2010. I looked at some 20 licenses in the MISC-FREE
group and I find it difficult where to draw the line. How do we define
"BSD-alikeness" and "BSD-4-alikeness", in the first place? Also, what
would be the purpose of such a license group?

So, does anyone still want to pick this up, or should we delete that
comment?

I think we can delete the comment. As you say, it's far too unclear
what a BSD-alike license actually is. And while it is probably possible
to have a "free only" system, it's unfeasible to have a "BSD-alike only
system".
