Subject: [gentoo-java] Request for testing gnu-jaxp/gnu-jaxp-1.3-r2::java-experimental
Date: Sat, 21 Jun 2008 21:20:39 +1200 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <485CC7E7.5040206@gentoo.org> (raw)
I have been playing around with gnu-jaxp/gnu-jaxp-1.3-r2 in
java-experimental and am currently having an issue that sun-jdk-1.5
fails to build it Basically I believe it is a classpath search issue
where javac uses the vm class instead of the packages.
Would someone be able to test this package? I would like to confirm
that others also have compile issues with sun-jdk-1.5, and also whether
ibm-jdk-1.5 also fails.
bascially I have tested with
[I--] [ ~] dev-java/blackdown-jdk-1.4.2.03-r16 (1.4.2)
[I--] [ ~] dev-java/ibm-jdk-bin-1.6.0.1 (1.6)
[I--] [ ~] dev-java/sun-jdk-1.5.0.15-r1 (1.5)
[I--] [ ~] dev-java/sun-jdk-1.6.0.06 (1.6)
The package doesn't depend on anything in the overlays.
Thanks
