I'm willing to fix all ebuilds explicitly listing 1.4.x to require '1.4*'= and drop merge 1.4.1 and 1.4.2 into 1.4. That would give us consistency with = 1.5, 1.6 and 1.7. And finally 1.4.1, 1.4.2 - that is IMHO useless and pointless. Opinions? If there's no reason not to do so I'd like to propose that I'll= do the change on Saturday/Sunday.
