[gentoo-java] java-config cannot see JDK

Any ideas?

Let's start with the simple.  I cannot tell from your snippets, but did
you run "env-update && source /etc/profile" yet?

If not, please try that and let us know.

Okay, I ended up doing a "equery files" on the java-config packages that 
I had installed (v1 and v2).  I then ran the check environment thing, 
which told me to follow that guide.  So, it looks like I do have to. 
I'll let you know if it works.
