Now that the jdk license has been changed, is there anything stopping us
from enabling fetching of the jdk1.5 ?

Good idea IMHO. I was also wondering what we are wait for.
IIRC the licence even allows repackaging of Sun JDK, albeit
under some sensible conditions.

They haven't released 1.5.0.07 under the new license, but 1.5.0.06. When
given the choice of having the most recent version, or the fetchable
version, I choose the most recent.

We have made inquiries to Sun about this, and apparently it has to do
with some delays due to rewording the README and license to be in better
agreement with the Debian folks. Our contact is currently on vacation,
so we will hopefully get an update when they are back in the office.

In the future though, it sounds like they will be releasd under both
licenses at the same time.

1.5.0_07 has been now been released under the DLJ... Time to update the
scripts to allow jdk fetching ? :)

Been quite aware of it. I have had an ebuild ready, but haven't had the
time to properly test and commit it yet.
