Jose That does sound interesting.

At present all J2EE activity is towards trying to package JBoss on Gentoo 
(sanely).  Geronimo is on the list of J2EE implementations that we (fordforg 
and myself)  are planing on looking at.

If you would like to attempt to package Geronimo we would be happy go give you 
advice, either thru the mailing list or on irc://freenode/#gentoo-java

(The above is a blantant attempt to get more worker ants for the J2EE effort).

I personally was considering attempting to package the glassfish project after 
jboss but I may now consider Geronimo (or do them jointly)
