That's what we really need; Pascal's suggestion of using a script to populate the .classpath file is a neat workaround, but really what would make more sense is something that provided our packages (jars & sources, etc) fully configured and available as User Libraries or whatever. I cc'd Remy Suen; he's an Eclipse hacker who runs Gentoo. Maybe he can help. AfC Sydney P.S. A Java based solution for this would also go a long way towards providing the infrastructure that would be needed by a maven plugin that would allow us to use libraries already on the system (as opposed to bringing in arbitrary binaries from untrusted sources) which has been another pain point for quite some time now. --=-Ic2U4L2rEuWWBfGQ7+21 Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name=signature.asc Content-Description: This is a digitally signed message part -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.7 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQBHiwTuLVETDFf2570RAjcbAJwICEeBCzQhlEG57M/JE4pZRjxT1wCfVapa ciM2R5soub+HjpN+3Lf8bfU= =2ztF -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --=-Ic2U4L2rEuWWBfGQ7+21-- -- gentoo-java@lists.gentoo.org mailing list
