I installed Hardened Gentoo as a VirtualBox (version 3.1.4) guest
under an Arch Linux host. Under Hardened Gentoo, everytime I tried
booting with a kernel with SELinux enabled (for example,
hardened-sources-2.6.28-r9), I would get a kernel panic when the
ethernet driver (e1000) was loaded.
It is fixed with the patch detailed here:
http://lkml.indiana.edu/hypermail/linux/kernel/0906.1/00855.html
I did not try hardened-sources-2.6.29, but according to the website
above, this problem appears to be fixed in future versions of the
linux kernel.
