This isn't "maillist" who unable to support users - it's subscribers of
this maillist unable to support users. This list has very low traffic,
and splitting it into two maillists make then even less traffic each.
Usual way to kick :) "physicians and math-specialists" into hardened-dev
is increase traffic in this maillist with huge amount of user-support
messages... Try to ask your "simple" questions and look is somebody will
answer. If nobody will answer - then why you think these people WILL
answer if maillist will be renamed to hardened-users? :)
Anyway, I don't share your view both about "is not able to support users"
and "physicians and math-specialists". Everything written above is just
attempt to reply from your point of view.
There some professional developers experienced in security in this maillist...
and they are only people who __able__ to answer to most of questions
(so kick'ing them into different maillist isn't good idea for users anyway). :)
And they usually answer to all questions, so users usually can *get help*
(of course, if you wanna use Hardened then you must first read everything
about it on gentoo website and gentoo wiki... sorry, but this is only way to
use Linux - read docs, then read them again).
