Subject: [gentoo-embedded] klibc / splash for arm
Date: Mon, 14 Sep 2009 18:48:44 +0200 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <3ea34a000909140948v4da97f2ava622c17ccab24404@mail.gmail.com> (raw)
Hi folks,
I was hoping that a few of you might be willing to test out a few
patches I put into bugzilla a few minutes ago.
http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=284957
They're for klibc, which was previously keywordless for arm.
Klibc was a blocker for splash utils / bootsplash and I wanted to make
Gentoo 'prettier' on boot for the latest project I have before I
submit it for review to the customer.
I'll let you know how the splash functionality works. Spock said that
it should work fine for generic framebuffers, so hopefully that's the
case.
Cheers,
Chris
