Hi,
with kernels newer than 3.16.1 (provided by Acmessystems) the
Arietta G25 (http://www.acmesystems.it/arietta) has problems
to be successfully powered off or (boolean "EXOR" ;) reboot.
With the new 3.18.0 mainline kernel it is possible to successfully
shutdown (power off) and reboot the system.
For the kernel configuration the following options have to be set
CONFIG_POWER_RESET
CONFIG_POWER_RESET_AT91_RESET
The following option needs to be disabled:
CONFIG_POWER_RESET_AT91_POWEROFF
