Subject: [gentoo-embedded] GNAP: Build extensions using gnap_make
Date: Tue, 25 Aug 2009 13:34:24 +0200 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <20090825133424.7dece0b4@rigel> (raw)
Hello,
I'm trying to build a gnap extension (psad), some of the dependencies required by PSAD are masked.
(masked by: EAPI 2, invalid: SLOT is undefined)
I added dependencies to portage overlay directory, I created a new portagesnapshot unmasking sys-apps/portage in profiles/package.mask and then I executed:
sudo gnap_make -t stage3 -t extensions -s stage2-x86-hardened-2008.0.tar.bz2 -e myspecs/ -v arcturus09c -o portage -p ../mygnap-portagesnapshot-2.0.tar.bz2
How can I invoke gnap_make to use a newer version of portage ? Is 'chroot /var/tmp/catalyst/tmp/gnap/stage3-x86-arcturus09c' required ?
Thanks,
