Hi,

The Google summer of code is yet open, so maybe somebody is interesting
in some ideas for GNAP[1]

- upgrade system support
- squashFS packages
- crossdev support
- MIPS64 support
- any other nice idea...

So if anybody is interested in help just email me.

regards

Bass if I can make a request..
Please mail the lists.
Embedded is rated pretty high in things our users are interested in (top
20). So if you are a student or a vendor with access to students and
have bright ideas please share them with all of us.

I think, theese to would be nice. I want to do that. I would probably
write something like "and port it to mips64, mips or arm as a proof
of concept" since i can not be 100% shure to really get access to
mips64.

isnt GNAP built via catalyst ? so most of these features really dont look
specific to GNAP at all (nor should they be)

Answering a question that I'm not really sure is a question at all...
Yes it is using Catalyst so either it is just integration work making GNAP
work with already existing features or stuff has to be implemented in
Catalyst.

the crossdev idea of course is mainly in catalyst, so the rest is more
in the gnap side.

well, it'll probably be best that if/when you start working on the
cross-compile support on catalyst, we do it together and/or over the
gentoo-embedded list since ive already started working on this ...

no point in having you do a bunch of cross-compiling work for catalyst to only
have it shot down ;)

Sounds great.

I'll write my application today and then hopefully we can work
together soon.

Hi Mike.

I am the student working on the cross compile support for gnap. Could
you give a short status report on what is done and what needs to be
done? Do you have documentation or sources/patches i could have a
look at?

What could i do to get this running, where should i start?

Thanks,
	Philipp (stoile @ Freenode)
