Hi all,
Busybox fails to load, complaining about:
/bin/sh: error while loading shared libraries: libgcc_s.so.1: cannot
open shared object file: No such file or directory.
There's no libgcc_s.so.1 in my gentoo-embedded root and in toolchain
(/usr/arm-softfloat-linux-gnueabi) root. Any ideas?

IIRC its a gcc bug. Search uclibc mailing list.

i dont know how you built your system, but the gcc cross-toolchain should most
certainly have it
copy it by hand to the ROOT/lib
