Mozilla has a very simple email client that is pretty easy to
configure and it runs on linux/bsd/windoz...

am stuck with MS Windows. Does anyone have a suggestion of a client
that I can put on Windows to enable me to comply with this very

I looked into this a bit more, it looks like Dennis's version of
Outlook does not include In-Reply-To and References headers in his
emails, but has some other form of reference tracking. I don't know
if Outlook has a compatibility mode, or if newer versions support In-
Reply-To, but a web search should have some info on that.
I'd recommend Thunderbird anyway though.

Yeah I did not mean for you to feel flamed about it. think of it like
this. You are on ~30 mailing lists and see lots of threads everyday. Now
when you have one thread that you see is broken up into several smaller
threads with the same guy at the top of the new Re: thread (aka TOP
POSTING) it's just worth it for me to mention the problem I noticed to
you. In doing so it's more likely that people will read threads you
start when they don't have to sift threw 10 of them.

Thunderbird as many others have said.
Also Evolution is being ported to windows. It has alot of the
functionality of outlook but is now maintained by Novell. I have
no idea when that will be finished but based on the unix version, I'd
go in that direction.
