I think the documentation I've written[1] for PostgreSQL is pretty well
set to be published. I'm submitting it here for a final review.

It's intended to replace the existing postgres-howto.xml.

Some items that have been removed from this version of the documentation
from the old one:
  - No comparison to MySQL
  - Does not instruct users to give the 'postgres' system user a
    password (A potential security risk)
  - Does not instruct users in creating a database and/or role (This is
    better left to the official tutorial, which this doc points to)

Looks good here. Just found a part in the document where you used tabs
instead of spaces, but otherwise ok. Perhaps you can invalidate the
attachments in bug #330927 and also mark #300236 as a duplicate of #330927?

Wkr,

I don't know how those tabs are getting in there. I'll fix it when I get
home tonight.

I've obsoleted those attachments, but 300236 isn't really a duplicate.
Three or four bugs will be fixed when the doc gets placed, so I'll close
it then.

Thanks for reading the doc.

Okay, that's done. I also fixed my email address to be my gentoo.org one.

At this point you are ready to continue on with the official <uri

schemata and all that fun and useful stuff.

I would change it so it reads a little clearer to somethin like;

I forgot to remove the ). after

I would also remove this section;

Initialize

To finish the installation:

I attached a diff from yours to the changes I made.
