[gentoo-devrel] meeting time, round something...

[Deedra Waters]

Ok all, I'm proposing a meeting for tuesday at 1800 utc. Finals will be
over by then, so hopefully this time will be a bit better for devrel
folks. I'm sure that you can guess what the topic of this meeting will
be...

complaints and bugs.

1. this will be an open meeting as the others have been.
2. if this is something you care about, i would highly suggest that you
be at this meeting, and pass it around so that those who have something
they want to say about it can be there.
3. after the meeting the draft policy will be posted to this list for
people to  comment on.
4. people will have a week to discuss and comment on it.
5. after that week, a policy will be put into effect. Hopefully,
something that most will be happy with.

So, I need to know wether devrel people can or can not make this time.

Can we add those docs I wrote up [1] to the agenda, or would this work
out better if it were just focused on this topic?

I saw a comment or two on them in the last meeting log, and I'd like to
address them this weekend.

Let's just focus on the whole bugs thing right now.

Let's have a second devrel meeting on the 14th to set the final
complaint policy in place and we can talk about your docs then. will
that work for you?

My mother is gonna be in corvallis tuesday afternoon, and while i love
gentoo, i don't want to be stuck in the devrel meeting for 2 hours while
we hash out 2 large topics.

Rules" [1] may serve as a helpful reference.

I can make that time.  Not sure if I'll be able to stay the whole meeting or
not though (that's usually what time I sleep) but that really depends on how

Donnie suggested splitting out the whole complaint/ disciplinary part of
devrel into it's own small project/group. I fully agree with this. We'll
add this to the meeting and deal with that first. If the rest of devrel
agrees, and I hope they do:) then we'll leave it up to that group to
decide how to handle complaints since that group won't be part of
devrel.
