Subject: [gentoo-devhelp] make_desktop_entry icon doesn't work
Date: Tue, 16 Aug 2011 18:12:09 +0300 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <j2e1b7$8e5$1@dough.gmane.org> (raw)
I can't explain what is happening with the following lines:
doicon some_icon.png
make_desktop_entry binary Name some_icon
The desktop file is created in the KDE start menu, but no icon is
showing. Just the generic file icon. If I change the above to:
doicon some_icon.png
make_desktop_entry binary Name "/usr/share/pixmaps/some_icon.png"
Then the icon is shown correctly. What is going on?
