Have you > found a solution? As fas as I can say it's the better way to create ebuilds for the CPAN modules you need. The danger of using g-cpan is the fact that the install is more or less a live install. But you can use g-cpan very easily to create a default ebuild for the module you need. Put this ebuild in your overlay and you have a versioned CPAN module on which you can depend. g, mueli --=20 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ______ Michael Hammer / | GPG-Key-ID: 0x1BA5F0DE \______| GPG-Fingerprint: || 8704 11D1 048A 2F24 89D0 6B9E 3EC4 6EDF 1BA5 F0DE || phone: +43 (0) 650 86 33 55 8 || Graz - AUSTRIA || http://www.michael-hammer.at/ michael@derhammer.net ~~ ---------------------------------------------------------------------- --b/3kIrr+SWblMf9a Content-Type: application/pgp-signature Content-Disposition: inline -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.7 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFH3iGTPsRu3xul8N4RAgk6AJ9C/HzxzS1/x+EpHwxJ5SQhYjnJcgCfT0LA eDLB6zbvb2VMd/BULAJOYk0= =itTw -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --b/3kIrr+SWblMf9a-- -- gentoo-devhelp@lists.gentoo.org mailing list
