Subject: [gentoo-dev] Does anyone rely on the S to WORKDIR fallback in src_test?

src_test still falls back to WORKDIR, if S does not point to an existing
directory. For other phase functions this is no longer the case since
EAPI 4.
Does anyone rely on that behaviour (e.g., define src_test in a virtual)?
If not, I would clarify the wording in PMS, which arguably contradicts
itself at the moment, and also file a bug for Portage.
See https://bugs.gentoo.org/652050 for details.
