I'd like to reserve uid/gid 34 (3D printing) for www-apps/octoprint (cups 
analog for 3d printing)

What is the rationale for taking UID/GID from the low range?

Also i seems need a group/user for uucp as dep (since octoprint need access to 
/dev/tty{USB,ACM} or other types of com ports

Take any number in the 101..499 range, as indicated in the policy.

Ok.

So it can be 340 for both uid an gid (its free)

If you really need that kind of mnemonics, how about 368 (68 being the
ASCII code for "D")?
