I'd like to reserve uid/gid 34 (3D printing) for www-apps/octoprint (cups 
analog for 3d printing)

What is the rationale for taking UID/GID from the low range?

Also i seems need a group/user for uucp as dep (since octoprint need access to 
/dev/tty{USB,ACM} or other types of com ports

Ok.

So it can be 340 for both uid an gid (its free)
