Stock procmail does this already.

From procmailrc:
If the mailbox is specified to be an MH folder or maildir folder,
procmail will create the necessary directories if they don't exist,
rather than treat the mail‐ box as a non-existent filename.

And I know said functionality works, because I deliver my list mail to
.ML.${LISTNAME}.${YYYY}-${MM}/

P.S. That level of crossposting is not nice. Everybody who is only on
one of those lists would not be able to cross-post like you've done.
