I think rich0 is correct in viewing it as simply adding a few special- casing scripts to the kernel tarball (initramfs), tho, adding to the=20 already special-case asm and the bootloader requirements... It's not=20 exactly pleasant to have to adapt, but at least most of the linux world=20 will eventually take it for granted.
