There has been some coverage in GWN. Readers know modular-X is coming,
have been invited to test it, and know how to get to it now (the modular-X
HOWTO was linked), along with the fact that it's a big change and may
cause some breakage.
However, I do NOT believe a specific warning was given that it's going to
happen on $DATE and ~arch users should know there might be a bit of
breakage at that time.
