Hi there,
While trying to get lilypond to compile, I tried to emerge guile-1.5.4
but it kept coming up with errors about unknown host type. There is a
bug filed for this for the alpha arch, though I'm on x86. It appears
to be caused by the configure script not being able to handle being
passed 'CFLAGS=blah' where blah in my case was "-march=i686 -O3 -pipe"
which was passed as part of "$@" to configure by econf, as far as I
can tell.
