Dear all,
at the moment we suggest use the "standard format of the Summary" [1]
[name_overlay] CATEGORY/PKG(-version(-revision)) - {problem
description}/{action}
However this is contrary to the format in our logfiles, which use
CATEGORY/PKG(-version(-revision))::name_overlay - {problem
description}/{action}
Should we adjust the Bugzilla summary format to our logfiles?
Reason:
A unified format is useful to assign and work on bugs efficiently.
We could also enhance the bug assignment helper [2]
But [] brackets are often used for USE flags in bug tickets, the ::
format would be easier to parse.
Did I miss a point?
Do you think this makes sense?
