I said "maybe" and he said that in order to become a Gentoo Developer I had to submit a couple of ebuilds to demonstrate my "worthiness". How about 300+ ebuilds? ;-) I wrote a script that receives the information needed from the PEAR WebService and creates ebuilds for the current stable/unstable versions of all PEAR/PECL packages. The script can be found at http://www.sebastian-bergmann.de/stuff/pear-ebuilds.phps Currently the script is at a "proof-of-concept" level and the result of a 10 minute hack. Have fun with it, Sebastian -- Sebastian Bergmann http://sebastian-bergmann.de/ http://phpOpenTracker.de/ Das Buch zu PHP 5: http://professionelle-softwareentwicklung-mit-php5.de/ -- gentoo-dev@gentoo.org mailing list
