The first solution to unmaintained packages should be to move to an=20 alternative, if that's possible. Gentoo does not have the resource to be upstream for very much for the entire Linux community, a point already made by others. In volunteer groups things get done by those who want to do them. Others join later. I think the quote I'm looking for is "Build it and they=20 will come". --=20 Regards, Roy Bamford (Neddyseagoon) a member of elections gentoo-ops forum-mods = --=-iLGCVASwP8QHlZxnwxgU Content-Type: application/pgp-signature -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- iQIzBAABCAAdFiEE8iqN0lnEsghF0U/tVl/TNarc5wkFAlsuKZ0ACgkQVl/TNarc 5wmUZg//bciL/V9kdd8QLM+BlJ1b7BDMV1a72OX/ExMGcQa6vwCPHZ5gFkN5wUvV vBB4rACJ04aWSdpxxLPvj3lMx2B3H4sAkxBrXwHk5tQSeFo4Irpq/0eDnFyhwsyw STtDYnqJ6UxUghkmLOUpWkEAwo5aBWyckISqJiXI9LrtwVKFPMcABmNJUEJIkybc m+9YJxGuk3wItYDcxP/zqylEI5aIw+g6xeUcNJCmrTnZ9kRPBY6MnYBsTeCI8ggw HM3eefMXtz5fB54rb9eQevD395Opl0YjvK1BNUApJE0hmgItCM6/CmacjbTJC5ol ddAzP+p+mG61VYdIVq8NdDW7xsO8pwWlbOUguHtPno6amlnazJKCKhKP0bKig7u9 qebL5fBw9UtL60UY/l1By8kS58B4nPsAyz+/JY9v0aunJru5iThxlqCjAadBK5Jc neovJPrVwmjdB3D9ahfEnSKTepqt7VLYS0AbsjQC6Ymsh6ZQX8PYpplflhbuCQeu P839WITqz9EmQDwJLIx6ZFsHk6quj6AJsQS8ZQ1aknLKLnHAgNy1gwe68HJ6pgbt qU/dKrN7QibRdkwqiSVI5zjTi+e8yjHHcjvAIjJ5LQKDDb6l/mYCMYT+v+sBXv9k XOA4ct56NaYEbI2bvZSqRPHNMYxfCqTOX/UKHaWZIiiNFzbIr2E= =o2NO -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --=-iLGCVASwP8QHlZxnwxgU--
