The search output is good (the version matrix). strangely, I searched for "kde-base" and I got kdiff3 which is under the app-misc catergory. BTW, is the search regex enabled? if not, can you add a selection box to allow regex searching? And while we're on the subject - a different yet related issue - It would be nice to have the description of each package under the online package database. (http://www.gentoo.org/dyn/pkgs/index.xml) currently I'm able to do the same thing with "esearch -F -c ^tree-name", but I think it would add to that package.
