I have 2 new devs to introduce today.
Radoslaw Stachowia (radek)
Radek has come to join the Gentoo team from Poland. He will be helping
with net-zope and related ebuilds.
Radek's hobbies are gentoo, python, and crypto. He says that he is happy
single.
Patrick Dawson (pkdawson)
Patrick has come to join the Gentoo team to help with media-sound and
media-video. I'll let him tell you about himself.
I'm from Long Island but currently bouncing back and forth between Long
Island and Buffalo, NY. I'm a student at the University at Buffalo,
where I'm double-majoring in Chemistry and Computer Science. I spend my
time with my girlfriend Jen, playing my guitars, hacking, programming,
discovering new music to listen to, and sometimes even studying.
Please help me welcome them to gentoo!:)

Hi all,
Sorry for the late post on some of theese, the last couple of weeks have
been rather....interesting to say the least.
Josh Grebe (squash)
Josh has come to join the gentoo team from St. Louis, MO. Josh will be
helping out the sparc team. He has been using linux since the days of
kernel 1.2. Josh has made several contributions to openap-ng.
Josh works as a systems programmer, and has a wife and 2 cats. He enjoys
bicycling, motorcycling, roller blading, running, swimming, and dumpster
diving. (hmm, do I want to know what that is?:)
Josh Glover (jmglov)
Josh has come to join the gentoo team to help out with ebuilds. I'll let
him tell you about himself.:)
I am currently employed by Twenty First Century Communications
(http://www.tfcci.com/), a Columbus, Ohio-based telecommunications
company, as a Software Engineer. I serve as Listmaster
for the Tokyo Linux Users Group (http://www.tlug.jp/). I am married--
and have been for a year and a half now--to a Bulgarian girl.
I enjoy sports of all kinds, but especially football (AKA soccer), to
which I am quite addicted. Living in America, I am forced to play EA
Sports' FIFA series on my PS2 and watch MLS whenever ESPN2 deigns to
show it.
I like being outdoors, reading, writing (both fiction and essays),
drinking fine beers (fine !~ /budweiser|miller|coors/i), driving my
Honda Civic EX, travelling, and of course, coding.
Carsten Lohrke (carlo)
Carson has come to join the gentoo team from hamburg, germany. He will be
helping out in dev-python. Gentoo is carson's first open source project.
Carson says that he is passionated tea drinker.
I'd like to thank theese new devs for putting up with my insanity for the
last couple of weeks.
Please help me welcome them to gentoo!:)

Hi All,
I have a couple of new developer announcements to make. Avenj will be following up with a few more in the next day or so.
First up is warpzero (Joshua Charles Campbell) aka warp\0x00\ on irc. He hails from montana. He traced Lewis & Clark's expedition recently, but extended it to travel the world. During his travels he learnt many languages and has now started developing his own, called SL. Er, the last part is true, by the way. We will be hosting his project off the main www site soon, but in the meanwhile, you can check http://dev.gentoo.org/~warpzero for details.
Next up is gregf (Greg Fitzgerald). He's a mysterious sort, so
I don't quite know where he's from. However, in his spare time, when he's not hacking on gentoo related things, he's taken up knitting, which he quite enjoys and says "brings me zen." He is part of the printing team with Lordvan, but is also very very interested in the net-mail set of packages. He ha been talking to me about forming a net-mail herd, and so I'd like everyone who's dealing with the net-mail category to please convene and get that category organised with developers/maintainers. Greg is itching to get started, so I say, run with it, baby.
Thanks for your attention, please make them feel welcome.

Hi All,
I'd like to welcome two new developers to the team: CoronaLVR and spyderous.
CoronaLVR (Alex Veber) hails from Israel, where he practises underwater archery, and hopes to be on the national team for the next Winter Olympics. In between training, he'll be part of the wine bug handlers for Gentoo. I dunno, man, his /nick advertises a beer, he wants to maintain wine, keep an eye on him, people.
spyderous (Donnie Berkholtz) hails from Minnesota, land of the endless summer. He counts among his hobbies, collecting plastic butterflies.
But Donnie has been responsible for bringing you the latest xfree-drm and from what I've seen of the previews of the next xfree-drm, the critics will applaud.
Please make them feel welcome to Gentoo development.
