A source CD is available from
http://cdimages.telemetrybox.org/livecd/
now.
Includes a full portage tree and all sources to build a system from
scratch up to running mozilla. (X, xchat, mozilla) without having to
acces the net. It is based on gentoo
1.3b. stage 1 included too.
CD is a typical livecd. Bootable fully functional gentoo system with large
toolset and browser off the CD.
Simplest install:
1. Run the deploy script to copy stuff to HD.
2. Reboot
3. Run "emerge mozilla"
There has only been limited testing done so far. Any help would be
appreciated.
Note that other LiveCDs are available with prebuild binaries for mozilla
etc that run off the CD.

Add OpenOffice.org and you have a complete desktop system built from
scratch . . .

Which image is it? I grabbed something called g2source, but it is not
there anymore, and I can't find the source on that image anywhere.

The image was bad and so I removed it. Uploading a fresh release which
will be completed tonight (limited upload bandwidth).
