Dear Gentoo Users,
I recently installed this fantastic distribution.I am totally satisfied
with this but am facing one problem thats the qmail installation does not
seem to work.There are no files under the /var/qmail/control directory.
Is this normal or am i missing something ??
Please do help.
And is there a way to do make world , similarly to FreeBSD

You can make a basic config if you call
ebuild /vard/db/pkg/net-mail/qmail-../qmai-..ebuild config

sorry to bother you guys ...
I did as said .... but i get the following error
ebuild /usr/bin/ebuild.sh: pkg_config.sh: command not found
can you please guide me as to why is this command not found... do i need
to update/install something ..... i think this should be a part of the
ebuild system ... guide me if i am wrong

Hrm, that sounds strange. As an alternative you can run
/var/qmail/bin/config-fast [yourhostname]
I will look what can cause that message meanwhile.
