I'll look into it, but no promises. In my spare time I've been working on a tiny floppy-based distro which I was considering using to make a gentoo rescue/install bootdisk. Its not finished but its got one slick feature (IMHO), which a ~1mb vfat partition which is mounted at boottime and can contain kernel / modules / libraries / apps / etc. If you're interested, we can pool our efforts.
