Subject: [gentoo-dev] creating a digest for an ebuild
Date: Tue, 22 Jul 2003 15:55:59 +0200 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <OF1F92A435.A0E5D58A-ONC1256D6B.004A2F5A-C1256D6B.004C89C9@fag.fiducia.de> (raw)
Hi!
How can I create a digest for a new ebuild I started work on?
I've tried "digest name", but only got:
xch4008@yew xch4008 $ digest sys-devel/xmake
digest: NSS_Init failed in directory /tmp
repoman gave back:
root@yew sys-devel # repoman
!!! You do not have FEATURES="cvs" enabled...
!!! Digests may be incorrect!
repoman: We do not appear to be inside a local repository. Exiting.
Could one please help me, since "man digest", "info digest" didn't give
back anything. Looking at "http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/eclass-howto.xml"
delivered only the existence of this command, but not how to use it. A
google search wasn't helpfull too.
