Subject: [gentoo-dev] installation

Message-ID: <F780A5AEE4C5D311A546009027B687F505512E57@postman1.wsmr.army.mil> (raw)
I do not have broadband access to the machine where I would like to install
GENTOO, although I do have access elsewhere. Is it reasonable to attemp to
download packages I would be interested in and put them on CD's to use on
the subject machine? If so, how would I go about that? I am realatively
new to Linux, but have 10+ years of Unix experience, so I can follow a
general plan.
thanks,
ray carter
