After team-internal discussion I've reactivated your account.

Please,

* involve the community on the mailing lists regarding similar policy
  changes,
* at least try coordinate with Infra whether mass mails in such cases
  could be suppressed somehow,
* and try to act in a way that the rest of us somewhat understands.

The ban can be reinstated if the majority of comrel thinks it's
necessary.

For the record, I would like to point out that his mail to you was sent
*earlier* than your 'emergency announcement'.  And before you start
claiming it's clock drift: I've verified that in SMTP logs.

In other words, I see both your mails as nothing but an attempt to
incite hostility towards fellow developers through attempting to provide
false connections between events which have clearly occurred
independently.

From here it looks like:
1) A lot of bugs were modified.
2) Someone decided this was not good.
3) After thinking about it some more, no one actually cares.

Unless Mr. Roovers has admitted to some sort of conspiracy I don't
think it wise to accuse him of participating in one.
